After a highly successful Pride weekend, this year's #LGBTHC celebration has come to a close. While for many, Pride is limited to Saturday, our #LGBTHC festivities were a 3 day event. The party began at 4pm the Friday, the day before Pride, when the last remaining parking spots in Hillcrest were being eagerly snatched up by Pridegoers dedicated to keep their cars in the area during the parade. The Association was proud to offer a 420 friendly and LGBTQ-inclusive space for Pridegoers to enjoy throughout the weekend, from sundown Friday well through Sunday. With legal cannabis consumption happening in the private residence along the parade route, and a large network of cannabis professionals dispersed throughout the neighboring bar, a great time was had by all.
But Pride was not just a time for celebration and reflection, it was also a time for networking. This is what the Association of Cannabis Professionals stands for, connecting with fellow professionals in a friendly environment in order to benefit cannabis businesses and the cannabis community as a whole. The day after Pride concluded, we hosted a much needed "Recovery Wake 'N Bake" in our private residence and reminisced on the great fun that was had during the weekend. Can't wait to do it again next year!
Special thanks to our friends at OrganiCare and congratulations to Evan and the whole team on joining the cannabis community!
